Working with Wigan Warriors Rugby League Football Club, Tesco, by redeveloping and regenerating the site of their old ground at Central Park with an Tesco Extra assisted in facilitating the successful relocation of the club to the state-of-the-art JJB Stadium.

In partnership, Tesco and Warrington Wolves RLFC successfully relocated the club from it's outdated ground at Wilderspool Causeway to a new site at Winwick Road. Barr Construction built the new 12,000 capacity 'Haliwell Jones' Stadium along side a Tesco Extra.
